ServPlz ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website servplz.co.in. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information — When you register or sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture (if provided by Google).
User-Generated Content — Reviews you write (text and star rating), photos you upload, and business registrations you submit.
Usage Data — Login count, first login date, and last login date are recorded to maintain your account record.
Technical Data — We automatically collect your IP address, browser type (user-agent), language preferences, and the page you came from (referrer). This data helps us detect fraud, improve our service, and comply with legal requirements.
2. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored in JSON files on servers hosted by Hostinger International (server location: Mumbai, India). We do not use a cloud database service (e.g., Supabase, Firebase) at this time.
Uploaded photos are stored as files on the same server under a private directory. Session authentication is handled by NextAuth.js using secure, HTTP-only cookies.
We do not share your personal data with any third parties except as required for authentication (Google OAuth via Google's API).
3. Cookies & Sessions
We use a single session cookie managed by NextAuth.js to keep you logged in. This cookie is HTTP-only and is not accessible by JavaScript. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
5. Delete Your Account & Data
You can permanently delete your ServPlz account and all associated data (reviews, uploaded photos, and your user profile) at any time. This action is irreversible.
